Tony’s creative journey started at 17 as a founding member of A Peace of Ebony (1992), one of Africa’s pioneering rap groups. Years later, personal struggles with addiction became a turning point, inspiring him to write The Beginning during his time in rehab. From this moment of renewal, his career expanded into multiple forms of expression—producing and narrating his audiobook, relaunching his music career, and launching Nhumbi, a fashion line created in partnership with the international Zimbabwean label Faithwear.

His anti-substance abuse tour across Zimbabwean universities combined live performances with testimonies from his memoir, motivating young people to confront the dangers of addiction.
